Life / Stay positive

Like I said in my post about my dreams, I've been reading a few books about positivity and the like (and there are still a few on my to read list). I love how they give you a bit of insight on how to stay positive and not sweat the small stuff so much. When life is not actually going the way you want it to go, it's easy to become negative about it all. You didn't get a good grade, you didn't get that job you wanted, it's always raining when you have to go outside etc. From the big things that matter to the small things that kind of matter. But it's way more fun to be positive about it all. Here are some tiny tips and tricks on how I stay positive.
  • Throw the negative thoughts away. It's maybe easier said than done, but after a while it becomes easier. The moment a negative thoughts enters your mind, stop thinking about it and think of something that makes you happy instead. 
  • Think happy thoughts. Start your day thinking about things that make you happen, instead of being annoyed that you had to get up so early. You shall see that the rest of your day will be better as well.
  • Listen to music that makes you happy. Everyone has a few songs that give them an instant happy feeling. Definitely the way to keep those negative thoughts away and those happy ones close by.
