Shopping / Largest Malls in the USA

San Francisco, 2013
You're probably not going to plan your whole vacation around a trip to a shopping mall, but shopping malls are everywhere in the States. So if one is close by, you might as well take a peek. Most of these malls have the same stores, so you're bound to have a good time at any of them. These five shopping malls are on of the largest ones in the USA.

King of Prussia Mall
Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

This huge mall has around 400 stores, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, American Apparel, Bath & Body Works, Forever 21, J. Crew, Kate Spade, LOFT, Longchamp, Lululemon, Madewell, Sephora, Steve Madden & Victoria's Secret. They offer something for every budget, from very cheap to very expensive. Are you hungry from all the shopping you've been doing? There are three food courts and lots of different restaurants where you eat.

Mall of America
Location: Bloomington, Minnesota

This mall doesn't only offer you around 500 shops (including American Eagle, Apple Store, Barnes & Noble, Bose, Burberry, Cotton On, Disney Store, Forever 21, G-Star Raw, Guess, H&M, Hollister, Hot Topic, Juicy Couture, Levi's, Lush & MAC), they also host fashion shows, book signings and musical acts. Is the weather bad or just want to spend the day inside, I'm sure this place can entertain you for a few hours.

Aventura Mall
Location: Aventura, Florida

This mall has around 300 stores, including Adidas, All Saints, Anthropologie, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Diesel, Henri Bendel, Inglot, Jo Malone, LOFT, MAC, Nordstrom, Origins, Sephora, Steve Madden & Ted Baker. Are you in Florida and up for a full day of shopping. This is the place to go!

South Coast Plaza
Location: Costa Mesa, California

This mall has a little less than 300 stores. That's still enough for you die hard shoppers out there. Their shops include Zara, Z Gallerie, West Elm, UGG Australia, Tory Burch, Tiffany & Co, Nike Running, Macy's, Madewell, Intermix, H&M & Forever 21. Are you travelling through California, you might as well stop by this place.

Destiny USA
Location: Syracuse, New York

"Shop 'til you drop with more than 200 retailers to choose from." Stores like Yankee Candle, Victoria's Secret, TJ Maxx, Steve Madden, Sephora, Old Navy, Pacsun, H&M, Forever 21, DSW, Bare Minerals, Apple Store, Aerie, Aeropostale & American Eagle. Are you hungry? Go to iHop, Taco Bell, Wendy's or TGI Fridays.

  1. Probably the only mall I'd be interested in visiting is the Mall of America. Other than that, I absolutely dislike malls- as you mentioned, most of them all have the same stores...so it gets boring quick. It's just so dull to walk into one store, walk out, and into another. I like walking from shops outdoors to other shops- malls are so enclosed. I'm glad I currently live in a town that has no shopping malls- the closest is probably 3 hours away. :)

P.S. Haha thanks for liking my blurry photos! I have to admit, I kinda like them as well- usually ;)
