Life / The unpreparedness of it all

I've never been this unprepared for a trip in my entire life and amazingly enough it didn't scare me at all. All the weeks and days leading up to the day of leaving for my five day trip to London, I was in a state of 'we'll see'. I didn't check in any bags, so my only option was to take everything as hand luggage. I didn't change any euro's for pounds and I only got some cash out of an ATM machine five hours after arriving in London. I didn't have an exact day to day planning of what I wanted to do. Normally I would be prepared for every single detail of the trip and on this trip I was the exact opposite.
Off course I've been to London a few times before, so I've seen all the touristy attractions and that gives you a bit more 'free time' to do want you want. Also I was on my own, so I could do whatever I wanted. This trip was definitely different from all my other trips abroad. Now I know I can be on my own in a strange city. Now I know I don't have to be prepared for everything all the time. Now I know what I already knew, I love to travel.
